The Heart Surgeon

This word came to me after the Lord woke me up with lyrics from a song I heard by a Christian artist that said, “We don’t want a heart transplant, we want a facelift”. The Lord then followed it up with Ezekiel 36:26 - “I will give you a new heart”. What the Lord is telling us is His church is being seen by the world, but not in the way He wants you to be seen. He wants to be the one who shows you off only to Himself first. But the church, His People, wants to be seen by the world in our own way, which is contrary to God. And there is no amount of bodybuilding, makeup or head knowledge that can show you off like He can (Ephesians 5:27).
Have you ever found something that’s been missing for a long time and when you find it you say, “there it is!” You hold it up looking at it, then go and dust or wash it off. Father wants to show us off, but first we have to humble ourselves and let Him deal with our hearts (Jeremiah 17:9,10). And similar to a heart surgeon our Father will do the entire heart procedure on us by Himself. He said, “I WILL give you a new heart and a new spirit. I WILL remove the stony heart and replace it with a heart of obedience.” All we have to do saints is lay down, die to our flesh daily, and surrender to His Will on the operating table, allowing Him to complete His good work in us (Philippians 1:6). It’s that simple but we make it complicated.
Remember this saints: scripture tells us that Father has written (He is the author) and has completed (He is the finisher) all the books about our lives (Psalms 141:16). Glory, praise, and honor be to our Lord Yeshua and our Father.
Receive the blessing:
Lord bless us and keep us. Make Your face shine upon us and be gracious to us. Lord, lift Your countenance upon us and give us your peace,
in Jesus name.
